The discovery of a new law

Newton discovers a new scientific law; the gravitation
law.
The
last 29th of september Newton
published the book Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, where there
was his new law based on the attraction force between two objects depending on
their mass , the formula is this:
Gravitation formula
The
law of universal gravitation predicts that the force exerted between
two bodies of masses m1 and m2 separated by a distance r is proportional
to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square
of the distance. This theorie explains diferents types of movement like the orbits of the planets or the trayectory of proyectiles.
Newton begin to think in this theorie when he was sitting behind an apple tree and an apple fell
on his head, and he asked himself why the apple fell down instead of went
up. After years of studying he came to the conclusion of this law. His studies were based on observation and the empirical method .

Newton in his book mentions as references to several pioneers that include Bullialdus (who suggested, without demonstration, that there was a force from the Sun and that it was proportional to the square of the distance), and Borelli (who suggested, also without demonstration, that there was a centrifugal tendency in the movement of the planets that was being counteracted by another force directed towards the Sun).
This discovery will bring new physics and astronomic advantages in all the world .
