Do you really know Napoleon?
Today is the 2nd December 1804 and the coronation of the famous military leader, Napoleon Bonaparte is going to take place at the cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris. The ceremony will be held by Pope Pio VII,who has been travelling from Italy for 3 weeks to attend this succesful celebration. Lot of prestigious nobles and wellknown people are invited to the event. Along his walk, Napoleon has been climbing up through the Directory and the Consulate. It looks like Napoleon is trying to reaffirm himself as the head of the country.
But, do we really know our future emperor? Below, we give a more earthly point of view about him.
Napoleon, also known as Nabulio, was a brilliant student who accepted the challenge of becoming a military soldier. Although he faces powerful armies his biggest fear is cats, but it isn´t his only fear: he hates looking at open doors. Between his hobbies we can find the yoyo and the chess. He thinks sleeping is for weak people and he always carries with him a bottle of poison in case he gets captured in a battle.
Now we know the truth and the facts, we can find the character of Napoleon and how megalomany is affecting him.
Is he the emperor we want to represent our country?
It is a good article to be the first one. You could take more care of the layout, both, in the digital version and in the paper version. You should also go deeper into the information.

The news is good, I really liked that you asked questions to introduce the information that you are going to tell. I also found it curious that Napoleon was a great student and that he played with a yoyo and chess, since he did not think that with his personality he liked games in which patience was needed. The only that I think is wrong is the organization of information and photos.

DeleteI really like this article, it has been very interesting but I expected to read more facts about Napoleon and not about his coronation because of the title.

ReplyDeleteI think that your notice it is very interesting, because you have shown us some unusual facts about Napoleon, thinks that I would never going to see in another newspapers, and I never imagined about him, like the bottle of poison he carried to his battles or his fear to cats. Although, I think that there are very few links, and the only video it is in espanish, instead of english.
I liked the paper version, it is very appropiate for this article.

DeleteI like the news, it is well drafted and I found it interesting and entertaining. I liked that they exposed these secrets of Napoleon such as he hated looking at open doors and I liked the way that they started the news with the coronation to then put the facts but I expect it more surprising.

Hi guys,I like your article because I have discovered some interesting facts about Napoleon that I hadn´t heard before. It is well redacted but the organization of the text and the paper version doesn´t convince me, but definitely is a good job.

Thank you Angela!
DeleteAlthough it's short, it seems to me an interesting news. It tells Napoleon's data that I didn't know about he, as his fear of cats. I'm not surprised so much by his fondness for chess because it's a strategy game and he uses it in combat as a military man.
ReplyDeleteThe information of his coronation with which the article begins I consider it's quite complete, but in the second part where Napoleon is described, I think it has little information.
The text and the photos are well distributed but I would take care of the separation of the edges.

"about him"
DeleteIn my opinion, the post tells you a lot of nice information, and I find really interesting how important the coronation of a person who plays with Yo-Yos could be so that the main pope went to see it.
ReplyDeleteBut I do not really understand the distribution of the paragraphs and the photos, because it creates a lot of empty space.

The article is pretty good. It has many interesting curiosities as he hated looking at open doors or his fear of cats. I couldn't imagine it. Although the information is really good and it attracts your attention as well it is well redacted, I would like it more if there were any more links or a video.
